Green Wedged Zoned landholding sells to Chinese landbanker

A Chinese landbanker, completing only their second acquisition in Australia, has purchased a Green Wedge Zone allotment at 80 Riverend Road, Bangholme for $5,100,000.

The sale was completed by rapidly growing agency, Stonebridge Property Group, with development site sales experts Chao Zhang and Julian White responsible for the off-market transaction.

The 25ha allotment, is positioned just to the north of Melbourne Water Treatment Plant, and to the east of the established suburb of Chelsea Heights.

Stonebridge Property Group received a directive from the Vendor to sell the property in an off-market process and with a clear preference for an unconditional settlement. Through our specialised Asia Practice, Stonebridge were aware of this buyer’s desire to purchase comparable landholdings. An excellent outcome was negotiated on behalf of the Vendor, with the sale being unconditional and on a short 75-day settlement.

“After transacting a site in Melbourne’s eastern suburbs last year to this same buyer, our Asia Practice kept in continual contact with this buyer and were able to successfully place their interest into this landholding” said Director Chao Zhang.
