The Stonebridge Property Group continues to expand its National Asia Practice team with the addition of Sarah Xi, joining as a Sales Executive focusing on the retail strip investment market.
Sarah will join directors Kevin Tong and Chao Zhang with a focus on continuing to build and expand on the relationships with Asian investors looking for commercial property in Australia.
Chao Zhang commented on Sarah joining in the team “We chose Sarah to join the strip retail investments team knowing she was the top sales in her previous roles at Mont Blanc and BMW, building on an enviable customer base and an impressive sales track record within the Asian community.”
The Stonebridge Asia Practice team has continued to be extremely active in 2021, transacting close to $100 million to investors of Asian Heritage this year.
Sarah on joining Stonebridge Property Group said “Australia continues to be a prime destination for Asian investors especially given the lifestyle attraction. With more and more residential investors interested in exploring the commercial property sector my focus will be to educate these newer buyers and source new capital for our vendors properties. The retail strip investment market is perfect for this given the price points and similar style of investments to residential properties.”
The very recent transactions of Shop 1 and Shop 4, 166 Gertrude Street Fitzroy highlight the demand from this buyer pool, with both properties selling to first time Chinese investors into the commercial property sector.
